Catch the Whale Migration from Jervis Bay
The best time to go whale watching, does vary depending on the migrations direction, June/July when the whales are travelling north is a great time to get out and about, we have great sightings at this time of year. For the most part you have to travel to the outside of Jervis Bay giving you a chance to enjoy the very impressive view of the spectauclar Sea Cliffs protecting Jervis Bay. Often whales are accompanied by travelling pods of oceanic dolphins. On the southern migration September and October are fantastic times to join the cruise. Many of the sightings during this time are INSIDE Jervis Bay when the mothers and the calves relax, rest and sometimes even play! Which is an absolute delight for all!

Go on a coastal walk in Byron Bay
The Cape Byron lighthouse track in Byron Bay will take you on a coastal journey through rainforest, grasslands and beaches, as you slowly make your way up to the lighthouse. The loop track runs 3.7km (2.3mi), with a combination of boardwalk and bush tracks. Keep your eye out for dolphins, turtles, and whales. Be sure to take an Instagram worthy picture standing at the most easterly point of the Australian mainland. Tip – the view from Byron Bay lighthouse over the ocean is pure magic during the golden hours of sunrise or sunset.
